| Okay...I know it's been a while....but hey, you try corraling (sp?) a 2 1/2 year old who you know on any given day is probably plotting your pending demise! I love my daughter, but these days she's a hoot and a handful! I love looking at life through her eyes and watching her learn and grow.....and there are times that I wish I could bottle half of the energy she has! Her personality is awesome and she is a funny little girl....she will definately charm the socks off of many as she grows....so watch out world! (She already has her daddy right where she wants him at any given moment...so all hope is gone there! Love ya hon! ) As for other areas of life, work is good, relationships are good, and in general life is good. I am missing my Senior Sweeties oh so dearly, but I know each of them is doing well in their first year at college, so that makes me smile. We are oh so enjoying the season of the Irish and anticipate a good bowl bid!! Well, onward we go...have to get to the paperwork on my desk! Take care all and see/talk to you soon! | | |
| "This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us - whatever we ask- we know that we have what we asked of him."
1 John 5:14-15
What an awesome verse and an amazing one to see in action!
GOD is good.....ALL THE TIME!!!
| Okay...so, not much new, but thought I'd better post before I get harrassed about being the winner of the oldest post award!!!! (haha! love ya sweetie!)
Here's another little diddy that I read about the process of becoming an effective leader:
- Grow: Mature Spiritually
- Change: Embrace New Opportunties
- Endure: Overcome Life's Challenges
- Replace: Champion New Leaders
I would add that the foundation of each of these is Prayer....without it, none of the others can happen! May the Lord bless you richly this week!!!!!

| Well, my hubby so lovingly noted that I'm the winner for being so far behind in updating my site, so....here's a jingle!!!
Christmas was great, I was sick with a cold, oh but what wonders a little cold medicine will do!!!! Zoe was fun....although the little stinker figured out which presents were clothes boxes as they were handed to her and she would immediately push them away and look for the next "toy" present to open!!!
Megan~My headline is a paraphrase of a Chinese proverb....here's the whole thing for your curiosity.... "An invisible red thread connects those who are destined to meet, regardless of time, place, or circumstance. The thread may stretch or tangle, but will never break." It's sort of the motto for those who've adopted from China. Because we know that it is the Lord that brought Zoe to us...I like to think the red thread is from His hand sewing our paths together.
Well, Happy New Year everyone....oh, and GO IRISH!!!!!!
